Overview

The city of Pueblo, Co. adopted the following codes:

  • The International Building Code, 2015 edition. Pueblo, Co. Muni. Code, § 4-2-1 (adopted) with amendments at § 4-2-2.
  • The International Residential Code, 2015 edition. Pueblo, Co. Muni. Code, § 4-6-1 (adopted) with amendments at § 4-6-2.
  • The International Property Maintenance Code, 2009 edition. Pueblo, Co. Muni. Code, § 4-8-2 (adopted) with amendments at § 4-8-4.
  • The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 edition. Pueblo, Co. Muni. Code, § 4-13-1 (adopted) with amendments at § 4-13-2.

Residential Building Code

Comments

The city of Pueblo, Co. adopted the International Residential Code, 2015 edition, including the 2015 IECC and appendix chapters H and J. Pueblo, Co. Muni. Code, § 4-6-1 (adopted) with amendments at § 4-6-2.

  • Ice barriers are not required. Pueblo, Co. Muni. Code, § 4-6-2 (i) (table R301.2(1)).
  • Sec. 313.2 was deleted in its entirety. Id.(l).

Existing Buildings

Existing buildings, meaning buildings that were built in accordance to code at the time of construction, typically merit extra consideration in a current updated code.

Pueblo, CO adopts The International Property Maintenance Code, 2009 edition. Pueblo, Co. Muni. Code, § 4-8-2 (adopted) with amendments at § 4-8-4.
